The Chengdu International Women's Club Christmas bazaar will be held at the QSI International School of Chengdu, #188 Nan 3 Duan, 3rd Ring Rd, American Garden from 10am until 3pm on Saturday 9th December 2006 The bazaar is for charity, so part profits will be donated to the Minyak Dzogchen School in Tagong County, Sichuan.

The world famous Munich Oktoberfest beer festival was celebrated in grand style at the Paulaner Restaurant and Micro Brewery in the five - star Kempinski Hotel Chengdu . The British and European Union Chambers of Commerce billed the opening party as an inter-Chamber networking event. Many other dignitaries and special guests attended to enjoy foreign food, drink and entertainment at its best.
